Located in the heart of the renowned Clare Vally wine region, the family-owned Skillogalee winery has been producing wine since 1970. Their vines are grown and cared for by hand, on the high-elevation hillside slopes of our single-estate vineyards in Sevenhill. Sustainably managed and surrounded by the pristine natural bushland of the Spring Gully Conservation Park – Skillogalee is a truly unique and special place.

The 2021 vintage in Clare produced beautiful and classic wines with smaller bunches and grapes therefore reducing yield. The 2021 Skillogalee Estate Shiraz, opens with complex and layered aromas with notes of dark fruit (blackberry, black cherry), spices (pepper, cloves), and a hint of earthiness. This Shiraz shows dark berry fruit flavours of plum skin and fennel seed spice with a plush and silky mid palate core and long finely structured tannin. Stunning and vibrant drinking now, or will reward careful cellaring for ten+ years.
